On September 16, 2023, the opening ceremony of the "Park of Legends" in Nowa Slupia took place. The authors of the exhibition include employees of the Department, Dr hab. Anna Swiercz Prof. UJK and Dr hab. Tomasz Kalicki Prof. UJK, who received awards during the ceremony.

We are pleased to inform that Dr hab. Anna Swiercz Prof. UJK together with the scientific team, received funding for the project entitled Zastosowanie materialow mineralno-weglowych z pylow filtracyjnych cementowni i z odpadow przetworstwa owocowo-warzywnego do odkwaszania gleb i adsorpcji wybranych zanieczyszczen srodowiska as part of of the UJK dla rozwoju biznesu for 2023. Leader of the project is Prof. Dr hab. Piotr Słomkiewicz from the Institute of Chemistry with team members of Anna Swiercz, Beata Szczepanik, Dariusz Widel and two PhD students . The project also includes cooperation with the Cement Plant Dyckerhoff in Nowiny (dust from bypasses) and the Commune of Obrazów (apple pomace).
